Minecraft Movie Screenings Now Include These Disclaimers

New Precautionary Measures at “A Minecraft Movie” Screenings

Viewers planning to see “A Minecraft Movie” will now be greeted with a cautionary message before the film begins. This update appears to be a measure taken in response to disturbances reported at multiple screenings.

In a recently captured footage from one of the screenings, the disclaimer is clearly displayed, stating, “Be kind, be respectful. Remember that popcorn buckets are not to be used as Ender Pearls.” For those unfamiliar, Ender Pearls in the game Minecraft are items that can be thrown to teleport the user to the landing spot.

The need for such a disclaimer has grown as there have been instances where the police were summoned to theaters due to attendees throwing popcorn. The disclaimer aims to curb such disruptive behaviors.

Jack Black, the actor portraying the main character, Steve, made a personal appearance at one of the showings, urging the audience to refrain from throwing popcorn around the cinema.

Enthusiastic Response Despite Challenges

The film has proven to be a box office success, quickly becoming the second highest-grossing video game adaptation, trailing only behind “The Super Mario Bros. Movie.” It has even surpassed the opening weekend earnings of its competitors. Mike De Luca, a top executive at Warner Bros., mentioned that while there is no official contract in place yet for a sequel to “A Minecraft Movie,” the studio is seriously considering initiating one very soon.

According to a review by GameSpot, the film is a hit among fans, particularly those who enjoy watching Jack Black’s adventures in the Overworld, suggesting that the film offers a fun experience likely to appeal to its audience.
