Volume 42 was completed under the supervision of Miura’s closest friend, Koji Mori, and his team of assistants.
Another intriguing addition for fans is the novel, Berserk: The Flame Dragon Knight. Based on an original story concept by Kentaro Miura and penned by Makoto Fukami, this 192-page narrative delves into the backstory of one of the main antagonists from Berserk. Berserk Anime Adaptations on Blu-ray
Berserk has been adapted into several anime and film versions over the years. The 1997 TV series, highly regarded by fans for its faithful depiction of Miura’s story, was released on Blu-ray last year and is currently on sale for $48 (was $60).
The Golden Age Arc, a trilogy of films released between 2012 and 2013, was also launched on Blu-ray as a 13-episode recut last year. The Memorial Edition is now available for just $41 (originally $70).
The 2016 series, despite mixed reviews primarily due to its animation quality, continues the story after the Golden Age Arc and features compelling characters and plot developments across its 24 episodes. It’s available on Blu-ray for $39.62 (was $70) and is part of Amazon’s B2G1 Free Blu-ray Sale.
