Exclusive: Funko Launching Classic Mega Man Funko Fusion Figure With Chase Variant Version

Funko Fusion may not have been a breakout hit when it launched last year, but it has certainly delivered some exciting Funko collectibles. We’ve already been treated to figures inspired by Battlestar Galactica, Shaun of the Dead, and The Thing. Now, Mega Man is joining the lineup. You can preorder the Mega Man Funko Fusion figure for $15, with its release scheduled for December 27. This figure will be available in a classic blue version reflecting Mega Man’s iconic look, along with a Chase variant that features a zombie-themed design. Additionally, Funko has unveiled upcoming figures of Colonel Sanders, the superhero Invincible, and characters from Five Nights at Freddy’s.

Mega Man Funko Fusion Standard and Chase Variants
The release of these figures coincides with the launch of “Funko Fusion: Deluxe Edition,” a video game that expands the roster with several unique, exclusive characters. Although our review of Funko Fusion scored it a modest 4/10, those in search of a quirky, cooperative game filled with pop culture references might still find it appealing. The $40 Deluxe Edition is particularly enticing for its addition of new playable characters from various beloved films and television series. The new characters featured in the Deluxe Edition include:

– Wicked: The Wizard, Madame Morrible, Elphaba, Glinda, Prince Fiyero, and Shiz variants of Elphaba and Glinda
– Universal Monsters: Dracula, Bride of Frankenstein, Invisible Man, Wolf Man
– The Office: Michael, Dwight, Jim, Pam

The standard edition of Funko Fusion is also available for $20 and is compatible with PS5, PS4, Switch, and Xbox Series X. While it lacks the extra content and characters found in the Deluxe Edition, it does include Mega Man as a playable character.

Funko Fusion Colonel Sanders, Freddy Fazbear, and Invincible features
In addition to Mega Man, new Funko Fusion figures set to launch in December include a Colonel Sanders figure equipped with a chicken-launching cannon, available in a standard and an all-gold Chase variant, releasing on December 9. Also launching that day is a new figure of Invincible with a blood-splattered Chase variant. Following these, a Funko Fusion Freddy Fazbear wielding a pizza launcher will be released on December 27, also accompanied by a zombified Chase variant. These figures are available for preorder at $15 each on Amazon.
