Update: The 4K Steelbook Edition of Fallout is once again available on Amazon for $43 as of July 18. If you encounter issues while trying to place your order through Amazon’s web interface, consider using the Amazon mobile app instead. We found it possible to successfully place an order via the app, but not through the web version.
Note from the Editor: The following content was originally written on July 13.
Recently released on 4K Blu-ray, Season 1 of Fallout is already being offered at a discount on Amazon. Originally priced at $40, you can now pick up the 4K edition for just $30, matching the cost of the 1080p Blu-ray version. It’s important to note that this $30 deal applies to the standard edition, which comes in a plastic case, and not to the Limited Edition Steelbook. The Steelbook version was briefly available after initially selling out soon after preorders opened in April, and it was priced at $43. According to Amazon, this Steelbook edition is a true limited edition, only available “while supplies last.”
Availability of Fallout: Season 1 Home Media:
- 4K Blu-ray — $30 (
$40) - 4K Steelbook — $43 | Currently sold out
- Blu-ray — $30
- DVD — $25
For collectors of limited-edition Blu-rays, there might still be a chance for a future reprint, but Amazon’s approach to handling the preorders for the standard 4K edition suggests that once stock is depleted, it may not return. They only started listing the standard edition in mid-May, after the Steelbook had sold out, and priced it the same as the Steelbook ($40). The lack of a price difference suggests that the Steelbook packaging was essentially a perk for early preorders or it might see a restock—but its future availability remains uncertain.

However, the $10 discount on the standard edition serves as a small consolation for those who missed out on the fancier Steelbook packaging and art cards at its launch on July 8. Regardless of the version, the content on the disc remains the same.
Fallout: Season 1 made its debut on Prime Video last April and has received positive reviews from both critics and fans, marking it as one of the successful live-action adaptations of a video game for television. It’s not common for Amazon to release its original series on Blu-ray, making it a treat that Fallout is accessible even without a subscription. The physical editions have been produced and distributed by Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment.
The series explores the adventures of three characters navigating the Wasteland: a Vault dweller venturing above ground for the first time, a squire from the Brotherhood of Steel, and a formidable bounty hunter known as The Ghoul.
Below, we’ve highlighted some exciting Fallout merchandise available on Amazon, perfect for enhancing your collection.
