The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered Images Leak From Developer Website

Exciting Reveal of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

Newly revealed information points to an upcoming release of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, with evidence emerging from a development team’s website. This information includes various screenshots and visuals that give fans a glimpse into the upgraded version of the beloved game.

The images, which found their way to popular online platforms like ResetEra and Reddit, originally appeared on the website of Virtuos, the developer behind the remaster. These visuals showcase significant improvements in the game’s graphical models, detailing, and overall visual fidelity.

Currently, the Virtuos website has become virtually inaccessible, with most of its pages, other than the main landing page, being down, presumably due to high traffic or maintenance following the leak.

Despite efforts to remove the leaked content, numerous details and screenshots have already been distributed across the internet. According to VGC, the project, titled The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, is a joint venture involving Virtuos and Bethesda’s studios in Dallas and Rockville.

Virtuos has a well-established record in the remastering arena, having worked on several high-profile projects like The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition, confirming their capability in enhancing classic games.

The remastered edition of Oblivion is set to be released on multiple platforms including PC, Xbox Series X|S (available on Game Pass), and PlayStation 5. An intriguing aspect of the release is a Deluxe Edition, which will feature special bonuses such as unique weapons and horse armor, the latter being a playful acknowledgment of the infamous 2006 DLC.

Speculation about a potential remaster of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has been circulating for years, tracing back to leaked documents from the Microsoft-FTC trial in 2023. Subsequent reports have consistently suggested its imminent launch, with some sources hinting at a surprise release possibly occurring this month.

While there has yet to be an official announcement or unveiling from the developers, the amount of information and material already public makes it clear that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is on the horizon and may be released very soon.
