Dragonlance Chronicles Omnibus: Grab Your Copy On Sale at Amazon Now!

Last month saw the re-release of the most acclaimed Dungeons & Dragons novel series in a beautifully bound hardcover omnibus edition, featuring the original trilogy. Authored by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, the Dragonlance Chronicles trilogy extends over 1,056 pages and quickly rose to bestseller status, causing it to sell out at numerous bookstores. Amazon has recently replenished its stock of this hefty tome and is currently offering a 20% discount, reducing its price from $35 to $27.83.

While third-party sellers are offering the book for $29 at Walmart, purchasing it directly from Walmart (both shipped and sold by Walmart) will cost $34.15. Despite this, purchasing Dragonlance Chronicles at its full price still represents good value for enthusiasts, as it consolidates three novels into one impressive hardcover volume. For those interested in more Dragonlance narratives, the Humble store is promoting The World of Dragonlance Book Bundle, which includes 26 ebooks for just $18.

The narrative of the series unfolds within the official Dragonlance campaign setting designed for the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons First and Second Editions, inspired by the Dungeons & Dragons gaming sessions of Hickman and Weis in the early 1980s. This high fantasy series follows a group of adventurers caught in the sweeping saga of the War of the Lance. The trilogy was launched simultaneously with numerous other official D&D products set in the Dragonlance universe, including adventure modules, derivative board games, video games, and more.

While originally forming the core storyline for the original AD&D Dragonlance modules, subsequent editions of D&D have also included official modules and expansions set in the Dragonlance universe, including the latest Fifth Edition. Beyond the official gaming materials, the franchise has expanded to include over 190 spin-off novels, with notable sequels to the original trilogy being Dragonlance Chronicles: The Second Generation and Dragons of Summer Flame. Though physical copies of these sequels are currently sold out, digital Kindle and audiobook versions of Summer Flame are available on Amazon.
