Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Achieves Remarkable Sales Milestone
It has been confirmed by the team at Sandfall Interactive that their latest release, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, has successfully sold 4.4 million copies to date.
Despite official data still indicating that the game sold 3.3 million units within the first 33 days of its release, key team members shared more updated figures during an engaging discussion. Benjamin Dimanche, who is in charge of marketing and releases, along with Amandine Marest, the hair and technical character artist, and Florian Torres, the senior gameplay programmer, disclosed these numbers in an interview with popular French streamer Antoine Daniel. They confirmed that sales have indeed exceeded 4.4 million copies.
Daniel, probing for the latest updates on the game’s performance, got a simultaneous and enthusiastic response from Torres and Marest. While Torres began with “Officially…”, Marest interjected, excitedly declaring, “4.4 million.” This prompted laughter among the group, with Torres clarifying, “Officially, it’s 3.3 million, but it’s actually 4.4 million” (courtesy of Gamereactor).
