Turtle Beach has unveiled the Victrix Pro BFG Reloaded, an enhanced and more costly iteration of its Victrix Pro BFG modular pro-style gaming controller. The newly updated controller features a reengineered module for fighting games, which has been designed to ergonomically support the wrist when playing with fingers in an arcade fashion.
Offered in both black and white, the BFG Reloaded can be purchased in configurations that support either the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One or the PS5 and PS4. Both versions are also compatible with Windows. Turtle Beach claims that the controller can operate for up to 20 hours on a full charge and boasts a wireless range of 30 feet. Additionally, it includes a 3-meter braided USB-C cable for those who prefer a wired connection. It is also equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
However, the Pro BFG was notably lacking in certain features like haptics and adaptive triggers, and it appears these have not been added to the Reloaded version either, according to Turtle Beach’s press release. This omission is particularly notable given that the Pro BFG Reloaded’s price point is nearly equivalent to that of the haptic-enabled Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra, which has been recognized among the best controllers for both Xbox and PC.
