Introducing the Comixology x Kindle Colorsoft Scavenger Hunt

Named the “Comixology x Kindle Colorsoft Scavenger Hunt,” this event invites enthusiasts to explore various publisher booths at the event to locate and scan hidden QR codes. These codes offer access to free comics, promotional discounts, and even the opportunity to win a Kindle Colorsoft device.

Participating Publishers

The scavenger hunt features an impressive lineup of participating publishers:

“Partnering with Kindle for SDCC 2025 is exciting,” remarks Jeff DiBartolomeo, GM and CTO of Comixology. “We’re eager for fans to engage with us and our numerous publishing partners in our inaugural physical scavenger hunt. This event not only celebrates the joy of comics and reading but also showcases the extensive and varied collection of comics, from timeless classics to the latest issues, available through over 150 publishers via Comixology and Kindle,” he added.

The Comixology booth, numbered 1935, promises a variety of activities for attendees. Highlights include a large gumball machine dispensing unique enamel pins among other prizes, more opportunities to win Kindle Colorsoft gadgets, and Kindle demonstration stations. The booth will also host signings by creators and live drawing events with artists such as Michael Avon Oeming and Tula Lotay. Moreover, Comixology will be conducting up to seven panel discussions at SDCC, featuring panelists like Thomas Jane, Taki Soma, Marc Bernardin, Tula Lotay, Paul Cornell, and Scott Snyder.

San Diego Comic-Con 2025 is scheduled from Thursday, July 24 to Sunday, July 27. Attendees can look forward to a rich schedule of panels and sessions detailing what to expect at this year’s convention.
