Introducing the Psychic Salamander Festival
Modest Mouse has unveiled their plans to launch the first-ever Psychic Salamander Festival, set to take place over two days at Remlinger Farms in Carnation, Washington. The event will span across the weekend of Saturday, September 13, and Sunday, September 14. The festival is to feature two headline performances by Isaac Brock and his band, with additional acts including Built to Spill, Sleater-Kinney, and the Flaming Lips. Notably, the Flaming Lips will perform their acclaimed 1999 album The Soft Bulletin in its entirety during their Sunday performance. Below is the complete list of artists scheduled to appear.
Earlier in the month, Modest Mouse made headlines with the announcement of another ambitious project, the Ice Cream Floats music festival, which is scheduled for 2026 aboard the Norwegian Pearl cruise ship. This past March, the band began an international co-headlining tour with the Flaming Lips, which is set to run through September, including performances across Europe, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. Last year marked the 20th anniversary of their 2004 album, Good News for People Who Love Bad News, which they celebrated by reissuing the album.
