Introducing Verraco’s Latest EP on XL
Colombian music producer JP López, known professionally as Verraco, has revealed his upcoming EP titled Basic Maneuvers under the XL record label. This new work follows his previous release, the Breathe… Godspeed EP, and is set to be available on May 29 as part of the label’s house bag series. The EP’s lead track, also named “Basic Maneuvers,” can be listened to below. Additionally, the cover art and tracklist for the EP have been released.
Verraco, who is also a co-founder of the TraTraTrax label, collaborates with Nyege Nyege’s MC Yallah on the EP’s final track “Sobe Sobe.” The EP itself comprises three tracks, with “Total” positioned in between the opening and closing tracks. Currently, Verraco is engaged in a European tour and is scheduled to perform at notable venues including Glastonbury and London’s Waterworks later in the year.
