Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1 Has a Release Date and Loads More Details, Title Update 2 Set for Summer 2025

Capcom Reveals Monster Hunter Wilds First Major Update

Capcom has unveiled that the initial update for Monster Hunter Wilds, known as Title Update 1, is scheduled for release on Thursday, April 3 at Pacific Time and on Friday, April 4 at UK time.

During a recent video presentation, Capcom disclosed not only the release date but also detailed the features that will be introduced in the first significant update following the game’s launch.

Introducing the Grand Hub

One of the key features of this update is the introduction of the Grand Hub, a new social space designed for player interaction. Within the Grand Hub, players can enjoy a new mini-game titled Barrel Bowling and experience live performances from the Diva at nighttime.

The update also brings a challenging new leviathan monster, Mizutsune, known for its perilous bubbles, into the Monster Hunter Wilds ecosystem. This update is complemented by the inclusion of a Zoh Shia quest. Furthermore, the fearsome Arch-tempered Rey Dau will be available later through a special event quest.

Accompanying these additions are Arena Quests, which challenge players to compete against each other to achieve the fastest quest completion times. This update will be available to all players at no additional cost and includes classic gestures from previous series installments. Alongside this update, Capcom is also releasing Cosmetic DLC Pack 1.

Upcoming Collaborations and Updates

Looking ahead, Monster Hunter Wilds is set to feature a collaboration with another Capcom game at the end of May, the details of which are yet to be announced. Additionally, a second title update is expected to be released during the summer, which will introduce a new monster, further expanding the game’s already extensive roster.

Despite anticipation, PC gamers will be disappointed to learn that the showcase did not address the performance issues that have plagued the PC version of the game since its launch. No updates or fixes were mentioned regarding these concerns.

For those new to Monster Hunter Wilds or looking to enhance their gameplay, resources are available including a comprehensive guide on the 14 different weapon types found in the game. Detailed walkthroughs and multiplayer guides are also being developed to assist players in navigating the game and optimizing their cooperative play experiences. Additionally, for those who participated in any of the open betas, instructions on how to transfer your MH Wilds Beta character to the full game are available.
