As Sensation Amsterdam gets ready for its swansong this July, headliner Fedde Le Grand has taken Ian Carey’s classic ‘Keep On Rising’, and given it a rework to be used as the Sensation 2017 Anthem.
Retaining most of the elements from the original, Fedde Le Grand gives the track a thumping makeover, with a bouncy bassline and boisterous synths, sitting perfectly with the vocal hooks. Talking about the track with Billboard, the Dutch producer says:
To be honest, it actually is a record that I’ve been working on for nearly a year now I think. I personally really like the record and how it turned out, I think it’s such a classic vocal and I love the positive and summer vibe it has to it. At the same time of course I was super excited already to be part of The Final Sensation in Amsterdam, especially with the prominent but difficult role of presenting the first ever live megamix… So when I heard about the opportunity of Keep On Rising possibly becoming the actual anthem to the event, and later learning the special meaning, it really gave me the chills in a positive sense, this really is a ‘meant-to-be’ type of situation.
The final Sensation Amsterdam will see the likes of Axwell /\ Ingrosso, Hardwell, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Fedde Le Grand, Mr. White and a special guest play at the Amsterdam Arena on the 8th of July.
