As the month of December has started, the countdown to the grand 10th edition of Sunburn Festival has begun. To add to the excitement, KSHMR has unveiled the official anthem of Sunburn Festival “Mandala” in collaboration with the Italian duo Marnik and the Indian vocalist Mitika Kanwar.
As we speculated in a recent post, it is the very same track that Marnik previewed in the second episode of their radio show, Marnik Arena. Filled with signature strings and the Indian touch, this humongous tune features sizzling vocals of Mitika Kanwar. If you don’t know her, she is an Indian classical vocalist and has collaborated with Keyboard wizard, Hasit Nanda for the covers of KSHMR’s tracks like ‘Dharma’ and ‘Voices’. ‘Mandala‘ will sound familiar if you have heard last year’s Sunburn anthem ‘Bazaar‘ as it is a stunning follow-up to that with the story taken forward.
Sunburn Festival’s official Anthem for 2016, KSHMR and Marnik‘s “Mandala” featuring Mitika Kanwar is set to release on December 26. Stay tuned for more info and check out the preview below.
