
It’s about that time again!
India’s foremost indie and bass music agency, KRUNK, is back with this year with its flagship Bass Camp Festival. Hailed as one of India’s biggest bass music festivals, the long-running show has hosted only the best international bass heavy acts including the likes of Calyx & Teebee, Koan Sound, Alix Perez and many many more. Additionally, they have also played an integral role to showcase some of the best talents in the Indian bass music scene.
Kicking things off in Bangalore on the 11th of November with Mumbai next in line on the 12th, Pune on the 13th, the festivities will be followed up by a second set of shows in Mumbai and Bangalore on the 25th and 26th of this month respectively.
As Bass Camp Festival gears up to take place across 8 separate cities, the expansive lineup for Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune is set to feature American heavyweight EPROM, UK-based talents Swindle and Chimpo alongside the likes of Alo Wala, B.R.E.E.D, Kumail, EZ Riser, Malfnktion, RAKA, Zokhuma and more.

EPROM

A veteran in the game and a master in his own right, bass music mastermind EPROM has been one of the brightest exports from the American underground music scene. Known to assault listeners’ sub-woofers with his out of this world grooves, the bass music heavyweight is known for his futuristic aesthetics which graces west-coast influenced electronic music blended into hip-hop. A complex mix of exceptional sound design and other-worldly melodies, Sander Dennis has left many awestruck and for good reason.
Swindle

Grime and bass music virtuoso, Swindle has been an influential name in the game in recent years. Known to draw influences from jazz, hip-hop, funk and dubstep, the London-based producer is a true craftsman in the making. While only a part of the audience knows him as Cameron Palmer, the highly revered act is ought to bring the funk within bass music.
Chimpo

Bass music don Chimpo is undoubtedly one of the hottest talents in the game. Fusing a multitude of genres – grime, drum ’n‘ bass, dubstep, garage, dancehall and hip-hop to produce a playful collision of unique sounds, the Manchester-based veteran has always been on the top pushing boundaries as a DJ, MC and producer.
