Dillon Francis has been a busy man ever lately. Ever since he unleashed his debut album “Money Sucks, Friends Rule“, the LA-based heavyweight has steadily put a horde of new music including his moombahton-centric “This Mixtape Is Fire” EP amongst several other singles and remixes.
And now it looks like dance music’s very own comedian is plotting another massive release as he recently talked to famed Australian radio channel Triple J to discuss his new single “Anywhere” with Will Heard and talk about his future plans! When asked about whether a brand new EP or album is in the works, Dillon confirmed those plans saying:
“Right now yeah, I’m working on an album. Or I guess it’s like an LP, like seven to eight songs I think.”
As he shed some more light on his upcoming record, the “IDGAFOS” hitmaker said:
“For the LP/Album I want to make, I actually want to work more with Latin artists and do more stuff that’s very Spanglish, Moombahton style. I just really want to make something that’s cohesive, because the last album that I made [Money Sucks, Friends Rule], I feel like it was really all over the place, so this is the concept I want to go with and I really want people to listen to it and go, ‘nailed it.’”
