Preview: Matador – The Enemy Remixes [EP]

For Matador, 2016 has been no short of overwhelming productivity. Having launched his brand new label Rukus, the Dublin based DJ later released his debut artist album ‘Ruction‘ on the same. While the 12-track album had been making good amount of waves lately in the underground world, one of the highlights that stayed is his single ‘The Enemy’ with Felix Da Housecat on vocals.

The cutting-edge monster release just took a shift level up, as it has received remix treatment from industry mainstays Hot Since 82 and Julian Jeweil. HS82’s remix by his natural expertise leads to a dim underground shade all over the rendition and transcends into his typical tech house sound with striking vocals from the original and repetitive melodic sequence capable of moving any club floor easily. While Julian Jeweil’s take on ‘The Enemy’ involves his signature industrial and bass driven sound with coloured synths around the centre that provide for a gloomy vibe as he grabs listener back to the ground from the soundscape set by Matador in the original.
