Watch This: RL Grime Shares New Single 'Aurora' Accompanied By A Fascinating Music Video

RL Grime continues to remain an iconic name in the bass music scene. The highly acclaimed alias of Henry Steinway has been favored by thousands of fans around the world who have come to love his unique concoction of hip-hop, R&B and trap influenced sounds. With his last original effort coming in the form of his debut album ‘Void‘, the WeDidIt member has been relatively quiet for the past year apart from dropping his essential banger remix of The Weekend’s “The Hills”.

Now to kick 2016 off in style, the trap icon has released a sparkling new single titled ‘Aurora‘. A track that will make you put it on repeat for the next few days, it oozes of what a quintessential RL Grime production sounds like. A melodic cut which begins with chopped and distorted vocals grows into a heavier offering as it eventually drops into an enormous synth lead backed by some top notch percussion work. The ‘Scylla‘ producer makes you experience a more vivid sound the second time around with an atmospheric drop ingeniously wrapped up between drum fills and snare rolls.

That’s not all as the music video is due on some well deserved appraisal. The one cut take visuals which as RL suggests were executed by sending a weather balloon into space with a go-pro attached and consequently recording the entire journey. Crafted perfectly in sync with the highly cinematic music, check out ‘Aurora‘ below and stay tuned for more updates on its release!
