It almost feels like history repeated itself on Friday, June 17th when Eric Prydz took over the circuitGROUNDS stage at Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas. The Swedish veteran who is known for his highly immersive performances which is considered as one of the best live shows in the scene, delivered yet again and finished off on an even grander note.
In addition to his already classic set which boasted of a pack full of his infamous IDs weaved in between other tracks by UMEK and Orkidea, Prydz brought down the curtain in the same fashion as he did in 2015 where the world was introduced to ‘Opus’. A euphoric progressive house gem which is being dubbed as ‘NOPUS’ by fans graced ears around the globe; a quiet string melody began to grapple attention before a pure progressive house beat took over to deliver what might be the true successor to his massive 2015 tune.
