Avicii's Retirement News Forces Spike In Ticket Demands

Just two days ago, Avicii‘s shocking announcement started to spread like wildfire and now, if reports are to be believed, the aftershocks of it are finally becoming visible. Viagogo has reported a 151% surge in demand for Avicii tickets. And to further cement that eye-popping data, demand for Creamfields have surged 87% overnight in anticipation of the Swedish DJ’s headlining performance.

The contemporary superstar is slated to carry out his last string of live performances at a variety of locations including Ibiza, Japan, Poland, Israel, Sweden and Dubai, including notable appearances at Rock in Rio, EDC UK, Ultra Korea and Weekend Festival Baltic.

Talking about the recent developments, a Viagogo spokesperson revealed that,

“Avicii has become a world-renowned DJ, carving himself as a major player in the industry, not just in the UK but across the globe. As a result he has a huge and loyal fanbase who are desperate to see him in what could be his ever last tour.”

While there are no reports of a scheduled performance in the subcontinent for the ‘Levels‘ star, we are sincerely waiting for the global icon to make an announcement so as the Indian fans can witness him live and for what might possibly be the audiences’ last time. Till, then stay tuned for further updates!
