As far as long as I can remember, Ultra Music Festival has always been touted as one of the premiere electronic music showcases, and for all the right reasons. The 18th edition of Ultra Miami which is all set to wreak havoc in the city this upcoming weekend is poised to be one of the biggest moments in the history of electronic dance music. Having announced the hotly anticipated lineup this past December which is absolutely STACKED, the crew at Ultra have a few surprises up their sleeve which includes the colossal return of Pendulum as well as deadmau5’s debut on Armin Van Buuren’s ASOT Stage.
A festival that bid farewell to the legendary trio Swedish House Mafia as well as mark the festival debut of Eric Prydz on American soil and also see deadmau5 troll Martin Garrix, the 17 incredible years of Ultra Miami has hosted some precious moments, some forgettable and some, err.. not so much! And finally, the big daddy of all, the 2016 Lineup! A master stroke by the Ultra team, the mega lineup is everything a dance music fan can wish for! While the mainstage looks drop dead heavy which will feature the likes of Martin Garrix, Afrojack, Hardwell, Armin Van Buuren, Steve Angello, and many more, the limelight will remain on Pendulum who are set to for a massive reunion after a multi-year hiatus.
