Major Lazer might have a pretty big fan following in India, and now they’re all set to increase that with their upcoming show in Mumbai.
Our favourite dancehall trio will be playing at the opening ceremony of one of the country’s biggest sporting events, IPL 2016. Yes, you read that right! With IPL being one of the highest watched event in India, getting Diplo and company to play at the opening ceremony seems like a no-brainer.
Set to play on the 8th April at 7:30 pm, Major Lazer will be performing at the Dome at NSCI Stadium in Mumbai.
Joining Major Lazer at the opening ceremony would be Chris Brown, who’ll be making his Indian debut, Honey Singh, and Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif and Jacqueline Fernandez. You can buy your tickets here.
Both Major Lazer and Chris Brown are being brought to India by Ferriswheel Entertainment, who are also behind Don’t Let Daddy Know‘s debut in India.
