Get ready to experience the Jungle Terror! Creating a sub-genre of his own, Dutch producer Wiwek has come a long way to craft a space of his own in the industry. And with his signing to LA-based label OWSLA, we finally have the desirable outcome. After dishing out his first single “Rebels” with Audiobullys a few weeks ago, the “On Your Mark” hitmaker has finally delivered his 5-track EP The Free And Rebellious with which comes his highly anticipated collaboration with Skrillex.
Titled “Killa”, this crazy joint is everything you had hoped for after being featured during his live sets all throughout 2015. The track opens up with gentle synth work and vocals by Swedish vocalist Elliphant which is more like a calm before the storm as it consequently blows up with signature jungle basslines and Sonny-influenced screeching synths. Now, don’t leave just yet because the second drop goes even harder as it follows the breakdown with more wobbles and aggressive drum patches.
