Australian prodigy Flume continues to tease goodies from his upcoming album Skin. Not so long go, after premiering his single “Never Be Like You” from his sophomore LP, Harvey is kicking off the weekend in style with a new single titled “Smoke & Retribution”. Recruiting Long Beach native rapper Vince Staples and Australian artist Kučka for the same, this one makes up for an ill collaboration.
Putting his top notch songwriting skills to use, Flume yet again pushes the genre boundaries with this phenomenal crossover track. Vince constructs his rap verses in seamless fashion on top of some ambitious synthwork by the Aussie while Laura Jane Lowther aka Kučka adds some worthy additions to the whole production and even taps in with her sultry vocals.
