Coachella Announces Stellar Lineup For 2016

2016 seems like the year where each music festival plans to outdo their competition. With Ultra already paving the way for the festival season to kick off, Coachella have announced their arrival in extraordinary fashion. Scheduled to take place over a span of two weekends from April 15-17 and April 22-24, the multi-genre music and arts festival will see the reunion of two of the biggest music groups, Guns n Roses and LCD Soundsystem who are also the two headlining acts. The third official headliner position has been grabbed by an electronic musician for the first time with Scottish producer/DJ Calvin Harris set to represent the dance music community.

In addition to the three mega acts, Coachella pack some serious firepower as it will witness some of the biggest electronic music artists such as Major Lazer, Zedd, Flume, Miike Snow, Jack U and more performing in the valley. Complementing the high profile acts will be some serious talent in the form of ZHU, KSHMR, Bob Moses, The Chainsmokers, Tchami, Hudson Mohawke and many more. The organizers have also given a nod to the house and techno fans as they are in for a treat with Dubfire, Maceo Plex, Nora En Pure, John Digweed, Claptone, Adam Beyer, Ida Engberg, DJ Koze and more on the list.

The most important part of this whole announcement would be that Coachella seems to have fully embraced electronic music in a wholesome manner. Check out the full lineup below!
