‘Something New‘, an Axwell /\ Ingrosso creation from almost a year back received a brand new makeover from one of our favorite Swede, Otto Jettmann, better known by his stage moniker Otto Knows. This ‘Parachute‘ hitmaker has tweaked the tempo and played around the main melody so the track feels similar to the original yet with a unique twist to it.
The remix opens with a really chunky snare and clap arrangement which slowly lends itself to the background synth which slowly builds up. A really tropical house vibe is ingrained in this song with glassy chord progressions and vocals which remind of the laidback vibe associated with the genre.
