Reggae Rajahs – Beach Party EP [Free Download]

Dubbed as India’s first reggae soundsystem, the supergroup Reggae Rajahs no doubt showcase a global sound in every sense. Known for their sounds of dub, reggae and dancehall music in India, they have been successfully spreading it since their formation in 2009. Having spread their sound across several festivals around the country and globally, they have created quite the niche for themselves. Their latest offering comes in the form of an EP titled Beach Party. Consisting of 5 tracks, it is bound to get you through the weekday blues. “Dancing Mood” kicks off the proceedings, a stripped down reggae track set at the perfect BPM for you to relax and get into a weekend state of mind and is in perfect sync with the title. Next up is “The First Time” which follows the exact path as its predecessor accompanied by some smooth vocals and the ultimate reggae vibe. Halfway through the EP, “Pass The Lighter” definitely lights it up by going up a notch and becomes more groovy as soon as the “marijuana” hits. Aiming at the legalization of the controversial leaf, this is unarguably the best possible way to do it. The penultimate track “Come Next To Me” is one of the more shinier gems in the 5 track masterpiece with some dope vocals strapped to the chilled out beat. Icing off the cake is “So Nice” and is hands down the perfect track to end this fantastic piece of work with. With an upbeat setup and aptly matched vocals to go with it likewise, this is happiness overloaded.
