Sunburn Goa‘s 9th edition promises to be bigger and better in every aspect. With a stellar lineup, new stages, festival camping and much more, your experience at the festival is going to be next level. Part of the featured stages at Sunburn Goa will be the Revealed Stage, hosting some of Revealed Recordings‘ brightest names, including Dyro, Julian Calor, Manse, Thomas Newson and Joey Dale. As part of our focus on Revealed Stage at Sunburn Goa, we caught up with Dyro for a mini interview to discuss his Indian debut, his upcoming EP and much more. Read ahead!
TBB: This is the first time you’re playing in India. Excited to be here?
Dyro: I’m really looking forward to it! I’ve heard great things about India and nothing but good vibes about Sunburn too, get to see some of my boys on the Revealed Stage and we’ll hopefully get to check some other DJs out!
TBB: You’ve recently announced an EP on your own record label. What does 2016 hold for you?
Dyro: Yeah, I premiered parts of the tracks on Snapchat so the fans could hear it first. I’m excited for 2016, my new 4-track EP is coming early next year and I’ve been in the studio making some exciting new music, this is just the beginning!
TBB: You’ll be headlining the Revealed Stage at Sunburn Goa. What can fans expect from your set?
Dyro: Crazy energy, new WOLV releases and I might bring some exclusives along.
TBB: Which artists, do you reckon, have had a big influence on your career as a DJ and producer?
Dyro: I really like The Prodigy, their whole rebellious, dark sound is what I’m into and an idea I really believe in, I like to think we take a bit of that spirit at WOLV but make it our own, unique version.
TBB: Given the chance to collaborate with one artist, who would you love to collaborate with?
Dyro: I’d love to collaborate with someone from the hip-hop or trap world, something different to keep people guessing! I’m a fan of N*E*R*D and then the newer flow of guys like A$AP Rocky, his style is sick!
Catch Dyro live at Sunburn Goa at the Revealed Stage along the likes of Julian Calor, Manse, Thomas Newson and Joey Dale on the 27th December.
