Swedish supergroup Swedish House Mafia had been buried until this year when there have been several indirect hints being dropped at the famed trio’s reunion. Most recently, in an interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1, Axwell dropped his views on SHM reunion. Unfortunately, those hopes blurred out when Steve Angello responded to the same question when asked by BBC Radio One legend Pete Tong and said,
“If someone came in 5 or 10 years and said, ‘Hey we have this charity event,’ we would obviously consider it. […] It’s just different now, we’ve grown apart.”
After all of this drama, one thing’s for sure that rumors go both ways. But last night, something rather mysterious happened on the trio’s page when they updated their cover photo with the traditional SHM logo and removed the advertising banner for the movie Leave The World Behind which documented their journey and ultimate departure.
It’s been a few hours since the picture surfaced to which the fans have been going crazy. We aren’t sure what to make of it but the ultimate expectation stands at a reunion between the three.
