Kenneth G & Maurice West – Kung Fu (Original Mix)

Never disappointing the big room crowd, Mainstage Music is back with a smashing track, “Kung Fu” by Kenneth G and Maurice West. A known name for dishing out bangers, the dutch DJ and producer Kenneth G teams up with fellow dutchman, Maurice West, who is relatively a new name in the scene. Emerging from Spinnin’ Records’ talent pool, West has remixed Headhunterz and has also released on Zouk (Armada). “Kung Fu” is a big step for him as he has the support of W&W and Mainstage Music with him now.

Kung Fu” starts off with a roaring down-lifter and the vocal sample “All I Need Is You” welcomes the listeners to  a stunning chord progression over wide sounds of synth. The track builds with the same melody buzzing over a punchy kick and bouncy percussion. As the snare rolls towards the drop, the sample “Let me see your hands up” unleashes the beast of a drop with roaring synths and energetic bassline supported by punchy drums. The subtle sound of crowd cheers is adding a great amount of energy to the track. Premiered on Mainstage Music podcast 285 by W&W, “Kung Fu” has already been supported by the likes of Hardwell, Blasterjaxx, R3hab, Quintino and more. Keep your ears ready for this one as you are sure to hear “Kung Fu” on the dance floor for quite some time. Out now via Mainstage Music, you can grab your copy of “Kung  Fu” on Beatport from here.
