
As this excellent year is about to end, the final Billboard Hot 100 list reveals the progress Electronic Dance Music has made in reaching to the mainstream audience. While the Billboard Hot 100 gets updated every week, Billboard announces the Hot 100 list at the end of the year, including top 100 songs of the year. In this year’s Hot 100, the Felix Jaehn remix of OMI‘s “Cheerleader” tops at #11, outlining the tropical house trend of 2015. As we move down, the sensational, “Lean On” by Major Lazer, DJ Snake and MØ takes the 16th spot. It is followed closely by “Where Are Ü Now”, the Jack Ü single featuring Justin Bieber at #19. Skipping the 20s, “Hey Mama” by David Guetta, Afrojack, Nicki Minaj and Bebe Rexha song scores the 31st spot. DJ Snake‘s spin of “You Know You Like It” by AlunaGeorge scores #59 and the Robin Schulz edit of “Waves” by Mr. Probz grabs the 95th position. Finally, “How Deep Is Your Love” by Calvin Harris and Disciples puts a full stop to the list at #100.
