Armada Stage
Bacardi EVC 2015 brings to India for the first time ever, the Armada Stage. The legendary stage, which has made appearances at Tomorrowland, Creamfields, Electronic Family to name a few is now heading to India for the very first time. Armada Music was founded in June 2003 and is the brainchild of Armin van Buuren, Maykel Piron and David Lewis, whose names stand for ‘ArMaDa’. Armada is responsible for releasing some of the best music in trance, house, progressive, techno, deep house, and even in the pop genre and is home to several heavyweights and among them are Dash Berlin, W&W, Aly & Fila, Cosmic Gate to name a few. It has also been awarded the ‘Best Global Dance Label’ from the International Dance Music Awards in Miami. It has also crafted the career of several young and talented artists including David Gravell, Audien, Toby Hedges, Andrew Rayel and many more. The diversity and extensiveness of the label is proven by the fact that it has more than 25 labels under its wing making it one of the most renowned ones at the global level. The Armada Stage will see a fully loaded lineup featuring Ruben De Ronde, Thomas Gold, Ben Gold, Omnia and our very own Aerreo who will be the first Indian to feature on the Armada Stage.
SOMA Stage
SOMA Project is one of the oldest and extremely successful Indian party brands and beach clubs which was founded in Goa. Its concept is extremely unique and promotes intelligent electronic music mixed with the beach sunset ambiance and attracts the most diverse and sophisticated crowd from all over the country as well as international music lovers. With a reputed local techno-house scene, it holds regular weekly events with the most sought after names from the European underground music community. Steve Rachmad, Wouter De Moor, Joran Van Pol, Peter Schumann, dOP, Mike Shannon, Darin Epsilon, Djuma Soundsystem are some of the several people who have played behind the decks at the reputed place. It is highly acclaimed as in February 2014 British Conde Nast Traveller ranked SOMA Project as a Gold Standard Beach Club. And now they have conquered another landmark by becoming the first Indian Party Label / Techno Club to have their very own exclusive stage at this year’s Bacardi Enchanted Valley Carnival. SCI+TEC Stage
SCI+TEC is the premiere techno and electronic record label founded by Grammy Award winning DJ and producer Ali Shirazinia aka Dubfire. Founded in 2007, the label was founded by the Techno legend to reflect his own sound and has featured many stalwarts like Nic Fanciulli, Joseph Capriati, Joran Van Pol, Christian Smith and our very own Indian de facto Techno king Arjun Vagale. The boss himself who has almost twenty years of experience surely does know how to work his magic. Known for his razor sharp beats, hyper-modern sounds and crazy level sophistication, the atmosphere around the stage is bound to get dark and groovy as he plays alongside his own peers. The stage will host label boss Dubfire, label residents SHADED, Stiv Hey, Hobo and our very own Kohra.
FULL ON Stage
The Full On concept is the brainchild of legendary trance producer/DJ Ferry Corsten which debuted in 2007. It started as an annual event in his hometown of Ahoy Rotterdam has gone on to become popular worldwide and has graced festivals like Tomorrowland, Stereosonic and many more. The specialty about the whole setup is that it invites artists regardless of their styles and genre for back to back sets making it even more unique as to how two artists combine their own sounds. Talking about the wonderful concept, Ferry Corsten says, “I’ve always felt that working together as a team brings out the best in people. ‘Full On’ gives this opportunity at a performance level. ‘Full On’ brings out the best in people as the crowd…where the crowd comes together as one so do the DJs at the full on stage. I feel as a sense of togetherness in this stage in a world where every DJ is fighting his own war.” Having announced the lineup for the stage’s debut appearance in India, it will feature Full On main man Ferry Corsten himself, Alex Morph, RAM and Marco V.
