When it comes to merging a festival flavor with club-driven bangers and dabbling with slight hints of other genres as well, nobody does it better than Dutch duo Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano. Never pigeon-holed and always experimenting, the awesome twosome have curated the seemingly befitting NYE anthem through their iconic ‘Red Moon‘. The track builds on a frenetic Big-Room production energy and yet displaces itself from a cut above the rest through its splendid production value, and arguably, a hint of Techno imbiss that will make it sparkle then these few days.
The track kicks off with a stretched synth bar that escalates with a distant horn, something that has become synonymous with a SJRM track now. All hell breaks loose as a massive bassline kicks in ushering a charged up synth that is really hard to pin down on any sound style! Best described as a euphoric energetic breakdown, the melody continues overlapping onto other elements bringing in all members to coalesce after the break. The track is sure to be rung in over and over this festive season, and we predict it would take a while before it leaves the speaker systems alone!
