They might be old but it would be stupid to write them off the charts and not ‘Stand Up‘ for their new album in what would be 6 years now since ‘Invaders Must Die‘ rocked the audiences in 2009. In the electronic business since the 90s , The Prodigy have had their share of controversies and they seem to be gearing up for one now.

Headlining the Isle Of Wight Music Festival in June,2015, Liam Howlett from The Prodigy thinks they will be sweeping the floor with EDM DJs when their next album releases.

We’ve always been like a big broom that’s just cleaning up – wiping the floor. They don’t bother us. It’s mainly DJs. If the dance scene is made up of DJs, that don’t bother us. We’re in different zones to them. We don’t make music like those kind of acts. We view ourselves as in our own kind of area. We’re fans of some people out there, but when you’ve got a scene built on DJs, that’s not healthy. We need more bands that make this kind of music.”

Liam just might be sharing his views on the amount of DJs out there or taking a dig at them, the 43 year old surely seems confident about their next release which are good signs on all counts.
