Bonobo has chosen to begin 2016 by tweeting out to his fans the news about his sixth album, his first since North Borders.

While nothing else is known about the album except that it is releasing this year, we assume it will be released under Ninja Tune Records, like all previous records.
Bonobo‘s records are known for the wholesome but relaxed sound they lend to the listener’s ear. They’re perfect for the tail-end of a long night out or to play when you want to concentrate on building your art. Perfecting the art of playing with tempo, while maintaining a feeling in the song, is a quality few have mastered. This has been consistent over his 5 previous albums and has now become his signature sound. We hope that we’ll get to experience the same Bonobo-ness in the next album!
