Swedish Hero(es) Alesso sure knows how to keep his fans happy! In a recent Q&A session on a Reddit AMA, Alesso decided to answer queries of fans and talked about several things, ranging from his favourite musicians to his upcoming album.
Alesso‘s favourite tour memory was “This summer, when I was touring Europe with my friends and family. That was one of the best summers of my life.” When asked by one curious fan “Have you considered making other genres of music? I know there’s some ragga jungle buried in there somewhere!” Alesso tells him to keep his head up for some of that genre is to feature on his upcoming album. ‘Nillionaire Rework’ is another track to watch out for on the new album. When asked about his favourite producers, Alesso said
I think… I would definitely say Hans Zimmer, his musical productions and his orchestral arrangements. He is outstanding and I think it is something that is very hard to achieve in the way he does. But of course I have my favorite producers such as Axwell ? Ingrosso… and John Hopkins.
He also revealed a keen interest in Alternative, naming Coldplay, Flume & London Grammar as some of his favourites. He also had advice for aspiring producers and that was “to never release a record you are not 100% satisfied with. It could be those small changes that can change the whole record to something completely different. And listen to your records MANY times. Get comments from people that you think have a good opinion. And mainly, believe that you can make those records.” He even appreciated his connection with Ingrosso when he said “Sebastian Ingrosso became like a big brother to me. And he made sure I didn’t focus on unnecessary stuff. But he always let me produce my music and do it in my way. I have a lot to thank him for.” Talking about the track that’s been on everyone’s playlists recently, he said “Heroes was made through emotions. Me and Tove Lo wanted to make a song that people can relate to. And embrace themselves too.And my personal hero, I would say, is my dad.”
