YouTube Launches Its Long Awaited Music Subscription Service – ‘Music Key’
Well, its been coming for months and YouTube have finally arrived. The giant video sharing website has just launched its own Music Subscription service, and by the looks of it, it has all the making for a path-breaking intervention. Already having the reputation of being one of the world’s most formidable platforms for music sharing, the YouTube experience will carry over to the Music Key beta application that is now available for smartphone & tablet users. The service is currently in its introductory stage so you can sign up for the Music Key’s limited beta service for $7.99 a month before it reaches its standard rate of $9.99 per month.
Music listeners will be pleased to know that finally, a YouTube service has arrived that allows you to keep playing music videos even on leaving the app screen, locking your phone or using other apps. Besides background listening, the service is Ad-free putting all the focus on music and no longer needing you to keep your finger over the area where the skip button would appear! Finally, the service allows Offline playback, making it one of the first services to allow music to be heard on the go even when not connected. Besides these features, you can now browse through artist discographies and hear entire albums – a feature that may just set YouTube apart in the music streaming service!
