We all know that December is prime time for the EDM festival season in India. We also know that all these festivals happen on the beautiful sandy beaches of Goa. There’s always been Sunburn who’ll be celebrating it’s 8th anniversary this year, and a strong upcoming contender has been seen in Vh1’s Supersonic, which will be celebrating it’s second edition.
This year, with both festivals occuring within the same timespan, one would imagine there being really strong competition. Supersonic has already gone ahead and announced it’s phase 1 line up, which includes acts like The Chainsmokers & Dillon Francis, so obviously Sunburn wouldn’t be too far behind.
If renowned global EDM based website, Resident Advisor, is to be believed, then apparently EDM stalwarts Afrojack, Avicii, Hardwell & Tiesto are all scheduled to perform at Sunburn Festival this year at Vagator, Goa! If that’s the case, we’ll have two massive festivals, clocked in at the same time! The amount of visitors in Goa would probably be record breaking!
Guess we’ll just have to wait and watch till these rumours are confirmed.
