Prince’s sudden death took many people by surprise, with the music industry mourning the loss of one of the biggest icons the world had seen. A number of dance music artists took to their social media channels as well to pay their tributes to the legendary singer.
French superstar David Guetta, who was headlining Tomorrowland Brasil on Day 1, paid a heartfelt tribute to Prince during his set, by playing the legend’s classic track ‘Kiss‘.
Addressing the fans during the tribute, Guetta said:
You’ve made me really really happy today. But today there was also, something that was for me really bad news. I think the two best artists ever were Michael Jackson and Prince. And tonight, Prince died and it makes me really really sad and I would love to play a record for him who is probably the biggest creator. One last record in honor of Prince.
