New York based DJ and producer Kasum has released a remix of Paramore‘s Ain’t It Fun as s free download on his SoundCloud. And boy, he’s done a marvelous job with the remix.
The producer, who admits being a massive Hayley Williams fan, gives a unique “melodic indie trapyish” spin to the critically acclaimed single from the American band. Kasum retains the original vibe of the song, with some gorgeous piano chords and catchy hooks serenading the always wonderful vocals of Hayley Williams. Building up to a unique percussion line, the breakdown unleashes a catchy infusion of trap and indie, something which makes the remix stand out from all the other remixes.
Kasum is known to remix mainstream rock and alternative acts, with remixes of The Fray, Green Day, Yellowcard Avenue already under his belt. And now with the remix for Paramore, the talented producer adds another feather to his cap.
