Zedd ft. Hayley Williams – Stay The Night (Nicky Romero Remix) [Preview]

Prior to introducing special guest Fedde Le Grand, Nicky Romero rounded up his explosive set at ADE with a new smashing remix project. The pioneering Dutch DJ/producer and plug-in developer left the enormous crowd stunned by unleashing his remix of Zedd‘s recent hit, “Stay The Night” featuring Hayley Williams of the band, Paramore. Only a few weeks since its release the massive original has already become one of the biggest tracks of the year and has been given a considerable amount of remix treatment.

Nicky surely couldn’t have decided a better moment to bring the remix to the ears of listeners than an event as legendary as ADE and living up to the fan appeal of the track has delivered a stellar remix. Putting in his own signature sound, Romero keeps the original vocals and piano based melody whilst adding his own unique spice to it with the use of remarkable percussions. As the chorus finishes, he leads us into the build-up which leaves you stunned with its snare rolls and pitch bends.

The track moves to a beautiful and melodic drop immediately after Hayley Williams incredibly voices out the lyrics, “Are you going to stay the night?”. The overall sound compliments the vocals superbly, making for a fantastic remix.

Listen to the preview Nicky’s rendition of the track below now & get set for its release on November 5th!

Zedd – Stay The Night (Tiësto’s Club Life Remix)

Zedd – Stay The Night (Tiësto's Club Life Remix)

Featuring Hayley Williams of Paramore , Zedd seemed to stray into the commercial fray for a while, with Stay The Night being judged as an electronic pop radio hit, nevertheless attracting oodles of attention. One of Zedd’s buddies, Dutch legend Tiesto decided to give his own Club Life re-work to it, and the finished piece is finally here. Retaining Hayley’s vocals, Tiesto’s opted to inject a slower hardstyle beat into this remix, with efficient usage of the original lyrics. A rather simple remix, the drop frankly doesn’t satiate the build up, but we’re expecting a steady slew of remixes following this one! Check it here:

Zedd feat. Hayley Williams – Stay The Night (Official Video)

Zedd and Hayley Williams’ recently released masterpiece, “Stay the Night”, which served as a follow up the incredible success of “Clarity”, now has an official video to accompany its emotionally infused vocals and melody. Creating a track with far more energy than his smash hit but without sacrificing any of its radio friendly appeal. The music video has a similarly mainstream vibe and features an interpretive dance love affair with some skillfully implemented visual effects.

Directed by Daniel Cloud Campos the music video focuses on the last night of a couple’s relationship. With Hayley’s vocals driving the melodic track to new emotional heights, the video beautifully accompanies ‘Stay The Night’ as it encapsulates the relationship drifting apart on that one last and fateful night. Check the video out now!

Additionally, “Stay The Night” will be re-released tomorrow as part of Zedd’s, ‘Clarity Deluxe‘ Album.

With Zedd‘s hit single “Clarity” achieving #1 status on US radio recently, he now releases his latest collaboration ”Stay The Night” with Hayley Williams of Paramore. The track serves as the lead single off the upcoming deluxe edition of his debut album “Clarity”, which is scheduled to be out on September 24.

“What I love about Hayley — besides the fact that she’s an incredible singer — is that she actually has a lot of emotion that she can carry. There are a lot of singers who sing a melody, and then there are lyrics behind it but they’re not connected,” Zedd told MTV. “Hayley is one of those singers that really connects the lyrics with the melody and can actually carry that emotion. She’s one of my favorite singers and I think she did an incredible job.”

This new single is a perfect blend of Zedd’s signature sound and Hayley’s radio friendly vocals, promising to be the next smash hit. Out now on iTunes, grab it right away!
