After Facebook decided to pull the plug on its “Like to Download” policy, which drew the ire of many artists and producers, there’s an all new social media platform for musicians named ToneDen, that takes all the content from their Facebook, Twitter and Soundcloud accounts and converges them conveniently at a single place.
The best part about this new social media hub is that the artists don’t need to fill up endless details to sign up for it. All they need to do is sign up through their Soundcloud account and voila! It’s done,
The social media hub also rids its users of the problem with the reach of their content to their fans, something which has long been an issue with Facebook, unless it’s a paid account.
One of the more innovative features of the platform is that as soon as the artist gains a follower on Soundcloud, he/she instantly gains one on their ToneDen account, which makes it easier to bridge the gap between fans and artists among the wide array of social media platforms they have to deal with everyday. Also allowing free downloads to promote their music and reach as many people as possible.
The whole concept of this new social media hub sounds promising, and if promoted properly, it could give other social media platforms a serious run for their money.
