Attendees of Calvin Harris’ set at Scotland’s T in the Park were in for a surprise when Harris made the closing slot even more memorable. Like a bolt from the blue, Harris called his ‘high-profile friend’ on stage and it was none other than Will Smith! Smith had asked Harris for a memorable experience and this was it! What could be more overwhelming than being on stage with one of the world’s most respected and well-renowned DJs in his very own native land? The crowds cheered with exultation and danced with all their energy to show the Hollywood star what they were made of.
Given an introduction earlier by the Men in Black star, this was Harris’ way of thanking his fans. Calvin and Will will (see what I did there?) continue working together off stage for a comedy show for HBO. From Under Control to C.U.B.A, the DJ had a great line-up for festival attendees to rave to and forget about the considerably wet and sordid weather. Calvin Harris left everybody ecstatic and made the day one of the best of the festival-goers’ Summer.
