Valencia’s biggest Electronic Music Experience debuted this past weekend as the enchanting Marenostrum Music Festival was held at the courtyard of El Grau. A nation frenzied by electronic music, played host to nearly 200 DJs from around the world and a loyal audience to a plethora of genres and musical styles. The festival was headlined by Belgian champions Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Jamie Jones, with supporting artists on the electro stage including Quintino, Wolfpack, The Chainsmokers, First State, and Yves V among others, while the Techno stage fancied Harvey Mckay, Supernova, and Mihai Popoviciu among many more. The beautiful festival also included the Indian super trio of Shaan, NDS & Blue and Zaeden, representing the Indian brigade as part of the Spanish armada!

Shaan has been no stranger to performing at international festivals. Having already performed at THE BOX at the Ministry of Sound and his forthcoming performance at Tomorrowland this year, his presence at the iconic Marenostrum stage gave a huge boost to the Indian EDM surge towards making its presence felt in international waters. Also, part of the Indian lineup was Delhi based NDS & Blue. The studio wizards find continuous support from the biggest names in dance music, and their DJ set was full of energy and exciting new productions and remixes as they enthralled their Spanish audience! Finally, ending the Indian takeover was young Zaeden. The first artist to find his track played on Hardwell’s On Air, the young producer tore the main stage apart with his energetic performance! Check out the video below!
With these young prodigies taking over the sound at international festivals, it won’t be long before we find more artists as part of major festivals across the world. Who knows, in a year or two, we’d have an Indian headlining Tomorrowland or UMF?! Fingers crossed!
