Swedish dream team Cazzette, comprising of Sebastian Furrer & Alexander Björklund, have developed a lovely relationship with Swiss DJ Maurizio Colella aka EDX. The two have been remixing each others tracks in delectable manner, as EDX spins out a magical Acapulo At Night remix for their latest single ‘Weapon‘, after the duo remixed his single back in 2012 ‘Everything‘. ‘Weapon’ is the opening track of their debut album ‘Eject‘, which was the first full released album on Spotify for Cazette, and now EDX picks up on those Progressive signatures and alleviates them in his own unique style. The track is out now on Beatport having been released by PRMD.
The track begins with soft and warm pads, before a chunky synth melody filters into the break and drops a heavy progressive bassline. An alluring vocal edit adds a tinge of euphoria, but its the lovely uplifting Progressive edit of EDX that shines throughout the track. Tossing and turning around the breaks, the track remains original to the melody whilst infusing EDX’s penchant for pleasing his audiences!
