David Forbes - Revert [EP]

David Forbes spread his magic with the euphoric ‘Conetic’ in the trance scene five years back and remained in the spotlight for a very long time under the Vandit Records label. His Vandit release of the breakout track ‘Questions Must Be Asked’ has even more significance portraying self as well as the label’s history and you got to believe; fifteen years on, and he’s still producing and delivering some of the best trance music. Here comes David Forbes’ new ‘Revert’ EP!

The first in the EP is the title track ‘Revert’ which produces some classic summertime goose bumps. Enveloping a cool progressive trance flow with a full-fledged thermal bass and resonating female concords, if there’s anything that has just sufficient feel-good vibes, well this is perhaps it.

The B-side of the EP showcases another production ‘Polaroid’ which comprises of distorted tough trance tones with heavy kicks, rising prominent pitch and a techy element kissing the riffs ensuring that dance floors truly get busted in one go.

The final element of ‘Revert’ is the up-tempo and elevating riffs of ‘Locations’. This track idly forms a club floor-ready number over which Forbes slide a super energetic euphoric lead line at its vital peak point.
