After the stellar remix by MK, Cr2 Records release even more high quality remixes to celebrate their 10th Anniversary for Nile Rodgers’ Do What You Wanna Do. Reworked by Grades, Chocolate Puma, Silversix, Rob Da Bank, Moonboots, and The EEL.
The first bunch of remixes have released, and it’s got some of the best talent across the entire remix collection. UK producer, Grades, starts off, making full use of the smooth bass of the original, yet adding a groovy and funk-filled beat to it. It’s got a perfect blend nu-disco with deep garage bassline.
Next up is seasoned duo Chocolate Puma, with their world-famous sound. They’ve converted the entire track into a heavy hitting, percussion driven, dance floor destroyer.
Silversix’s interpretation works towards a constant build up of intensity throughout his version. It’s a groove driven version that works well for after-hour sets.
Rob da bank’s version builds on the disco vibe of the original, yet he’s added an extremely soulful beat that complements Nile Rodgers’ perfect guitar work.
