Enjoying a growing reputation after last summer’s underground hit ‘Remedy’ and their FFRR debut ‘Catwalk‘, Disciples continue their momentum with the new single ‘Poison Arrow’ which releases on June 8th as their second release for the resurgent FFRR. The original mix of ‘Poison Arrow’ has now been picked by German stalwarts Purple Disco Machine and given a juicier interpretation of driving Club progressions!
Disciples’ roots were formed when Duvall and Gavin had a chance meeting on New Year’s Eve with Luke, for the trio to commit to a project and to be born. They soon found that their individual strengths caused a chemical reaction when mixed together. Their single ‘Poison Arrow‘ can be best described as a house banger with a crossover hook which is propelled by booming, bouncing bassline. Meanwhile, PDM give their own unique twist of Club textures as they add layers of bass and synth progressions, keeping the original melody and vocal hook sacrosanct to the track.
