Australian musicmaker Rob Swire, best known as one half of powerhouse duo Knife Party and lead singer-producer of electronic rock band Pendulum, sent waves across social media as he recently announced that this was going to be ‘an album completion month‘. Ever since Pendulum split up in 2012, fans and critics pinned all their hopes on the iconic spinoff project that is Knife Party. However things have been quiet with that moniker as well as neither Rob nor his partner-in-crime Gareth McGrillen making no releases post their massive ‘Haunted House‘ EP last May. However, Rob spread metaphoric wildfire through social media about 8 months ago, when he tweeted that fans can expect not only a new Knife Party album but a brand new Pendulum album as well to follow!

Then and now – Rob and Gareth went underground lest the massive festival lineups they were part of. And now Rob returned to Twitter to divulge more details about the upcoming album with an insisting tweet that promises more album details soon! Which album he’s talking about – we aren’t too sure, however we would assume he’s talking about both! Looks like its going to be a great season with some fantastic music to come from down under.
