Coldplay unveils collaboration with Avicii – “A Sky Full Of Stars”

The popular British band Coldplay, who are set to release their studio album “Ghost Stories” on May 19th have now unleashed their brand new single – “A Sky Full Of Stars”. The band has collaborated with the Swedish producer Avicii for this electronic down tempo ambient track. This collaboration between the rock band Coldplay and the electronic producer Avicii comes out as a big surprise for everyone.

The track is a wonderful treat of Chris Martin’s epic vocals painted with beautiful piano melodies and Avicii’s up to the mark production work. With Coldplay experimenting with electronic music for their upcoming album, we simply can’t wait for the release of “Ghost Stories” and can’t wait to see what all surprises will be packaged with it.

Avicii was in fact invited by the band itself to collaborate on the track “A Sky Full of Stars”. Along with producing the track, Avicii was also asked by Chris Martin to play and record the piano, however, Martin later stated in an interview with Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1 that he felt that he had “cheated” on the band by asking Avicii to play the piano instead of him.
